#flowey posting

flowey and frisk right.

i think them becoming close besties would take a while, with flowey wanting to shut himself away to keep himself from hurting anyone. especially with frisk, as he sees them as the best friend he wanted in chara but never had. (at least that's what i got from his after battle dialogue, and wanting to keep them as "chara" forever. but also that's him not wanting to move on)

but there is a lot of fanon of frisk wanting to save flowey, and i think that's great actually. frisk being a perfectionist wanting the best out of everything and trying to have flowey be his best is something I adore. projecting their light and trying to shine out flowey's imperfection.

and like flowey doesn't think he can be helped- perfect angst potential there. and he doesn't want to drag frisk down with him- and they're so kind and trusting it's annoying.

like flowey snaps at frisk- " I don't NEED your help! Leave me alone!"

they're everything him and chara should have been- the perfect kid. nice, willing to put up their childhood to be the monster ambassador. they're not mad at anyone for what happened in the underground- even if they have trauma from it. he wants frisk to be mad at him.

and he just. drifts to papyrus more. he's not scary as frisk is.

and i can see frisk not really wanting to talk to flowey. he's scary flower with a scary grin, and flowey doesn't help. he doesn't tell frisk how much he is overwhelmed by frisk being the best fuking person ever. he comes of as a total jerk-on purpose. he does want to push everyone away- and frisk shouldn't be friends with him. he HAS to push them away.

but he comes up to the surface for whatever reason. papyrus's doing, probably. and they talk- like normal people.

they have a lot of secrets- both they agree to never tell. also sans can't remember geno route fuck yall. they slowly become freindimes or however you spell it. flowey still sometimes oversteps and overreacts. but. he's getting better. sometimes they almost live in the same house- even i think though flowey would move in with sans and papyrus though.

i think when they're both adults/ like older teens and sorted all (most of) their issues- they can finally be friends. and it's great!!!

i don't see them getting romantically involved- put in some aus i like it. a lot of ships for me depend on context.
