Pulling them in to cuddle together
Kajika and Kairi had been sitting at the window seat watching the snowstorm as it raged outside. The fireplace on the other side of the room had been lit and was casting a flickering glow around the room although the chill could be felt with their distance from it.
"I just want to try somethingโฆ"
Casting an inquisitive glance at her companion, Kajikaโs eyes brightened the next instant as she hopped off the window seat and ran out the room. Before she had completely disappeared, she called a quick โWait right there!โ over her shoulder and returned a few minutes later with a fluffy looking blanket hanging over her arm.ย
Kajika offered a broad grin as she clambered back into her original spot at the window, curling around Kairi as she settled the blanket over the two of them to maintain the warmth.
