First time doing a reading for someone outside my immediate vicinity.I did a cleanse today on Max, and because the King of Swords in Flowers from the last reading confused me, I wanted clarification and did my own tarot pull.

I asked spirit to give me one card for Max, one for FS, and one for the journey they're on that leads to each other.

Spirit gave one card for Max (Eight of Cups), but two for FS (The Empress reversed and Death reversed). For the journey, I initially only pulled Page of Wands, but asked for a clarifying card since I felt there was more there than one card could give me, and got Queen of Cups in response. Max: Eight of Cups No surprise here, as we know the situation Max finds himself in at the moment. Eight of Cups is a call to consider that what is past may no longer serve you, and that it's time to move on. It represents the return to what is familiar too many times, telling Max that true happiness may be found in other situations than those he's already created, be that career-wise or in personal relationships. He may need to walk away for his own good. Eight of Cups also tells us that the realization of this is about to happen, or has already happened. A desire for growth is forming. FS: The Empress Reversed & Death Reversed Two Major Arcana cards at once was a bit surprising to me.

The Empress reversed suggests there might be a stifling influence in FS's life right now, and that FS needs to look inward to reassess what is truly important to them, and what might be impressed onto them. There may be feelings of unworthiness and feeling unloved.

Death reversed calls for change, and to take a step forward into the unknown, no matter how scary that might seem right now. FS might be clinging to old patterns and is called to release those and move forward.

This is very interesting to me, because if you summarize both Max and FS's cards, the message is very clearly: let go of what no longer serves you, prioritize yourself, and move forward so you can find fulfillment.

The Journey: Page of Wands & Queen of Cups

Page of Wands represents the willingness to explore new opportunities and excitement about what the future may bring. Through this, though, the Page of Wands doesn't have a plan in mind, they're simply moving forward and trying everything.

Queen of Cups clarifies that FS and Max are led by emotions, this is especially interesting to me, because during the cleanse of Max I could see signs that his emotional situation is burdening him and affecting his relationships. So this is currently happening, though he might hide it.

Side note: Queen of Cups in a love reading is kind of goated. There is deep love and admiration and emotional fulfillment. It is a call to trust your intuition and let it lead you.

When seen together, these cards seem to suggest that both Max and FS are open to the opportunity of a fulfilling love after working through their individual issues. They are ready to step into a new stage of their life in pursuit of their own happiness and fulfillment.
