When we examine ancient folk magic, it becomes clear that it was not “chaotic witchcraft,” but rather a very structured system.

I analyzed the texts and identified the main principles of ritual construction among the Slavs:

🜂 Basic principles of ritual construction:

Words as the center of the ritual

The spell is the main element. It is structured as follows: address → description of the action → reinforcement.

The closing formula is mandatory: “key, lock, tongue” or similar.

2. Time and place

Rituals are tied to the cycles of nature: dawn, sunset, night, changing phases of the moon.

It is also important to tie them to holidays (Kupala, Kolyada, etc.), when “the world is thinner.”

3. Sacred boundary

Creation of a “separate space”: a circle, a crossroads, a bathhouse, the threshold of a house.

The ritual is based on the idea of transitioning from the “ordinary” to the “sacred.”

4. Substitute action

Symbolic actions: knots, tying/untying, pouring water, burning.

The use of “dolls,” herbs, and objects that take on illness/problems.

5. Sacrifice and exchange

Gifts to spirits or elements (bread, honey, coins, fabric, chicken).

Magic works on the principle of “I give — you give.”

6. The elements as carriers of power

Fire (purification), water (washing away), earth (absorption), air (transfer of words).

They were often combined: for example, charmed water was poured onto the ground.

7. Rhythm and repetition

Actions and words are repeated three times, seven times, nine times.

It was believed that repetition “imprints” the action on the world.

8. Closing the ritual

Mandatory: “closing” the space and energy.

Without closing, the power can remain “hanging” and harm the practitioner.

One of the key transformations in the Song of Vikki was the rethinking of rituals.

We abandoned dogmatism—not for the sake of anarchy, but for the sake of **awareness**.

🌿 Why is this important?

In many traditions, rituals are sacred gestures filled with repetition. They provide a sense of stability, but often lose meaning in their predictability.

In the Song of Vikki, ritual is not a crutch, but a **tool of will and meaning**. It is created by each practitioner in response to a real goal, rather than simply repeated in a circle.

🜃 1. Forming a Goal

The ritual begins with the realization of Desire.

We do not create magic at random — we formulate a clear Goal: something that must manifest, change, or develop.

Example: “I want to get rid of my fear of public speaking.”

🜁 2. Tasks as magical paths

Tasks are born from the Goal — steps that lead to its realization.

Each task is like a path in the forest: you can walk along it if you know the direction.

Tasks:

𖤓 " I want to learn to speak confidently."

𖤓 “I want to inspire trust in my listeners.”

🜄 3. Creating spells

An **individual spell** is created for each task.

It can be text, movement, gesture, smell, image — nothing limits it except that it must correspond to the intention.

🜂 4. Ritual actions as an accumulation of will

Spells are embodied in **ritual actions** that:

* Accumulate energy (through repetition, breathing, dance, voice)

* Direct it into the world (through symbols, gestures, offerings)

These are not just “magical dances.” This is **the alchemy of will and form**, where the ritual is not fixed, but alive.

🌍 5. Ethnic roots

Vikki's song allows us to borrow and adapt ritual gestures from the folklore traditions of the world.

This is not eclecticism for the sake of exoticism, but **careful contact** with archetypes.

Vikki's rituals are not rigid — they are meaningful.

In The Song of Wicca, we don’t believe in linear paths. There’s no single straight road from birth to death, from Maiden to Mother, from beginning to end.

Instead — there are Currents. Spectrums. Cycles within cycles.

“You are not an arrow flying toward a target. You are a river, always returning to itself again and again.”

🌸 First Thought: "Multi-Layered Cyclicity"

A single person can simultaneously be:

In the Current of Beginning — when falling in love, or starting a new project.

In the Current of Transformation — when going through an emotional crisis or changing jobs.

In the Current of Completion — when letting go of old habits, or saying goodbye to someone.

One person — three Currents. In different spheres. At the same time.

🔥 Second Thought: "Personal Micro-Wheels"

Each of us has our own small version of the Wheel of the Year, but it’s the Wheel of feelings, relationships, career steps, emotional states.

“In love, I’m in Ilithara — everything is just beginning. In self-acceptance, I’m in Nemyra — breaking down old self-images. In family matters, I’m in Veluna — releasing old wounds.”

🌿 Third Thought: "Spectral Identity"

Your identity isn’t a frozen mask. You are a point sliding along the Spectrum of Currents, changing color and shape.

On different days, with different people, in different contexts, you may express different aspects of the Currents — and there’s no contradiction in that.

“I can be springtime beginnings in the morning, a storm by afternoon, and stillness by night. And it’s all… Me.”

🌑 Fourth Thought: "Honoring Inner Nonlinearity"

In The Song of Wicca, we learn to stop shaming ourselves for contradictions.

You can crave change and fear it at the same time.

You can be healing and still hurting.

You can be letting go and still holding on.

This isn’t weakness. This is Flow. This is what it means to be alive.

✨ Ritual Practice for Recognizing Your Inner Currents:

Take three small objects:

A stone (Ilithara)

A knotted piece of cloth (Nemyra)

A feather or leaf (Veluna)

Hold them in your hands. And ask yourself: “Where am I in each aspect of my life right now?”

Lay them on your altar, or carry them with you as a reminder: “I am a moving Song.”
