Had an unusual passerby today at work, the #FloridaSoftshellTurtle. I was going to help her get to water (after properly identifying what she was...) but she didn’t need my help. As soon as I moved away she sprinted to the lake with impressive speed. Turns out this is one of the only species of #turtle that actively crosses land for better living conditions.
