When reaching floor 20 for the first time after getting all toons, the floor will be covered by the rift.
It's a pastel grey-blue, and light filters in through it. The floor will have no twisteds or machines. There will be a portal somewhere on the map which will start a cutscene if you go near it. Watching this cutscene will give you the 'Enlightened' badge. The cutscene is of your toon hesitantly approaching the portal, before a bolt of lightning from the rift strikes them. The screen goes white, then fades back to normal. At first, everything seems the same, but soon you'll notice things are different. The toons have slightly altered designs and the UI is changed. You will be brought back to the lobby. Once you have been enlightened, the lobby will look different. The rift will be there, too, and all doors will be opened. They open to hallways, each leading to a different room. One is to Rodger's bedroom, one is to Delilah and Arthur's office, ect.
Once this has happened, the real game starts.
