Taxi Taxi! - Floating Forever EP . A great little indie pop gem from the Land of Indie Pop Gems (Sweden). Taxi Taxi! have been around since the Myspace Age and I remember reading about them about ten years ago. A veteran pop band, you say? Yes but it turns out that the twin sisters behind Taxi Taxi! have been making elegant folk-tinged pop songs from a really young age, since they're not even 30-years-old yet. . So here's yet another example of "talented young artists/musicians who make me jealous with their talent and youth and whatever man I have a real job and responsibilities and shit shut up". This is a feeling I'm confronted with a lot, especially as I keep getting older and all these great new bands just stay the same age (disclaimer: totally stole that line from Dazed and Confused, thus underlining my age). . But anyway, this four-song EP is short but worth your time. Love the song "Beetroot", which made my annual best-of Spotify playlist a few years back. Also my girlfriend's cousin mastered the record.
