- Network Executives: You're a suit, a money maker. You either rub shoulders with the 1% or you are the 1%. It's a dog eat dog world, there's no room for in-betweeners or outsiders. You're either old money or you're new money who works for the people with old money. Either way, you all work for or with The Network. Like clockwork, every midnight on Friday night that damn comedy show Friday Late Night comes on and people watch it. It gives the show ratings, it gives the show popularity and it gives the show money even though The Network takes a huge cut of Friday Late Night's money, especially what they draw in after each season ends. You've been counting your cash no matter how high or low it stacks but The Network prefers it to be high and you do too. You and all the other Executives have gotten word that The Network might kill Friday Late Night if their ratings don't go up. They don't want to keep investing in a money pit and neither do you, you hate losing money no matter how much of it you already have. So, you've been meeting with the creator of Friday Late Night and his spouse and they've both been schmoozing you and the other Executives like usual. You weren't really listening until they brought up that they're having a documentary made, some documentary they swear will save their show. You don't believe in their dreams, you think they're not only wasting their time but you think they're wasting your time as well... and everyone knows that time is money. The clock is ticking and there's no telling when you and the other Executives will be picking up the phone and telling everyone at Friday Late Night to pack up and go home for good.

- The Ace of Spades: Friday Late Night is his baby, his creation, his brainchild. He's like a father figure to everyone there, but that only gets him so far. The network executives lately have been threatening to pull the plug on Friday Late Night if ratings don't go up in the upcoming third season. He's extremely stressed out and in order to try to get ratings up for the anticipated third season, he's hired a documentary crew to film a behind the scenes look at Friday Late Night called Friday Late Night TV, a raw, gritty, vulgar and unedited look behind the scenes of Friday Late Night. He knows that not everyone will like cameras in their faces when they're not on stage but he doesn't care, because at this point he's desperate for his show to stay afloat. He also hasn't told the cast or crew about the show's financial issues, the only one who knows is his financial advisor who is also his assistant who is also his spouse, The Ace of Hearts. The Ace of Spades has a lot to deal with. It's no wonder he hasn't yet collapsed from exhaustion.

- The Ace of Hearts: Being married to the creator of Friday Late Night is no easy feat. Marriage to them is like a rollercoaster with no exit. A lot is on the line, not just their love for The Ace of Spades, but their money, their livelihood, their future. They don't want to see the show sink like the Titanic, but they don't know if it can stay afloat due to running recent numbers and seeing that they're really close to being in debt which as their husband's financial advisor and assistant, it freaks them out. They're a supporting person when it comes to the cast and crew, they're beloved by everyone who works there and they have no issue schmoozing network executives to give them more money, but it all is starting to make them feel bad because other than the network executives and The Ace of Spades, they're the only one who knows about how bad the show is really doing and lately it's been taking a huge toll on them, to the point where they've been thinking about walking away from the show as a whole.

- Writers: They're the backbone of Friday Late Night. They're basically trapped in the writers room all the time writing material for the cast to perform for the show. They say that writers day for Friday Night's show is always on Monday but that's a lie, really the writers are sometimes writing comedy sketches until the very last second that the show airs at midnight on Friday nights. The writers of the coveted writers room are all wacky and quirky and are of different age groups and all have different life experiences. Some are brand new at writing comedy sketches while others have been writing comedy sketches since at least the 1970s. Disagreements on different comedic bits happen all the time in the writers room and if you peek your head into their offices when you hear yelling, you just might catch a glimpse of a fight breaking out between older or younger writers or the beginnings of a younger writer revolt against older writers. It's like a battleground in the writers room and the only time that they're not all at each other's throats is either on the off season or after the filming of a holiday special to throw a holiday party and celebrate finally getting some days off. Lately they've expressed as a group how against the documentary they are, some hate the idea of it for various different reasons, while others don't mind it but one thing they can all agree on is that with the documentary cameras rolling in their offices, they definitely need more office space because of how cramped the writers room has gotten.

- Costumers, Makeup Artists and Hairstylists: They come from all different walks of life. Some had dreams of exercising their craft on Broadway stars while others simply needed a job to pay the bills. Some also have been doing their jobs in the beauty, hair or costume industry for a very very long time and simply didn't want to retire. They are the polar opposite of the writers, they all get along for the most part because they all have their own individual roles instead of contributing to the same thing. From bright to dull colored fabrics with different sewing patterns, painted faces to minimal makeup and crazy hairstyles to modest hairstyles or wigs, this department at Friday Late Night can do it all and more... they just wish that the documentary crew would film their art a bit more.

- The Band: You're looking for your big break and at first you thought you found it in the form of being the main band for Friday Late Night but then you started hearing rumors that the last five bands before yours got fired because of... well you're not sure why they got fired, but the fact the show has already gone through five bands and is only on it's third season is a bit concerning, but you and the band need the money. You witness chaos Friday night after Friday night and all you can think is that you thought musicians were divas... but comedians are way worse. The filming of the documentary has started and you and the band are excited because it'll be giving your music exposure. It's all make or break for the band because you're pretty sure if you don't do damn good for the upcoming third season of the show, then you're pretty sure you'll be out of an important gig and back playing small gigs in the streets of New York like you and the band were doing previously.

- The Fans & The Groupies: Some people think that you have to be pretty unhinged to be a fan of Friday Late Night due to how crazy their comedy is. But hey, it makes you laugh every Friday night and you thoroughly enjoy it. Some fans have managed to get tickets to see the show live in person while others watch from home. Some of the fans who watch it live are just glad to experience it from up close, while others take a step further and actively seek out members of the cast to sleep with in order to brag to their friends that they slept with a Friday Late Night cast member. Those fans are Friday Late Night groupies. Some of them get lucky and sleep with cast members but other times they're not so lucky and just settle to sleep with a crew member, a band member or a fellow fan. Either way, the fan base and the groupies are the lifeline of Friday Late Night and are the reason why it even exists.

She got her start on the radio show Big Apple 99.1, lending her voice out onto the New York airwaves in a dying industry. Who even listened to radio shows anymore? She ended up leaving before the radio station shut down for good and decided to take a leap of faith and marry her high-school sweetheart. He promised to take care of her and all that good stuff even though she told him several times she didn't need to be taken care of, she was a grown woman, not a child. The night before her wedding she freaked out and got drunk off of too many shots of vodka and two full glasses of red wine. She barely made it down the aisle due to being so hungover the next day. A week later she took a job with a comedy troupe in Brooklyn before becoming a solo traveling stand up comic in Manhattan bars. She wasn't making a lot of money, especially since she was spending it on alcohol to try to get rid of her depression since she couldn't afford a therapist. Her husband worked but he was comfortable where he was at his workplace. He had no desire to move up and get promoted. He had always been "safe", that's what drove her crazy about him in a bad way. She couldn't stand being with a guy who didn't take risks. So, for the both of them she decided to take a risk... a huge one. She auditioned for Friday Late Night. He was really angry with her for doing that and gambling with their future. Though she argued that he gambled with their future whenever he didn't wear a condom during sex. They didn't talk for a few days after that argument, but they'd have to talk again since she got the call that she was officially on the show for the first season and was officially a Friday Late Night main cast member. With the rest of the cast she's kind of the motherly voice of reason, staying out of the chaos and watching it all happen from the background. She gets along with most of the rest of the cast relatively fine except for The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds due to how much of an asshole he is and The Joker because of his drug habit. She prefers to be around The King of Diamonds due to their maturity matching her own, and she loves to be around The King of Clovers because he helps her forget her troubles at home. She's secretly sleeping with both The King of Diamonds and The King of Clovers while still being a married woman herself. Why does she do it? Because her husband doesn't please her the way he used to and at this point she just doesn't know how to tell him, so she uses two of her friends and coworkers in order to fulfill her needs with no feelings attached... or so she thinks.

★ The King of Diamonds: They're both mature people who understand each other and have deep conversations about different things. They appreciate each other's company and greatly enjoy their intimate moments together in the privacy of hotel rooms. No one knows about The Queen of Spades having a sexual relationship with The King of Diamonds, it's their secret. They know she's married but they don't care because she obviously doesn't care. He's young, rebellious, a disruptor, cocky, a bit of an asshole who thinks he has something to prove but he has a heart. From the moment he saw his first comedy show when he was a kid, he knew what he wanted to do and that was be a comedian. There was always something refreshing about making someone laugh. He ended up leaving home when he was sixteen and tried to make it in the comedy world. It wasn't easy. He was living out of his car for a bit, drinking cheap beer to get drunk and relax when he wasn't breaking his back working and doing odd jobs around Manhattan before taking a job as a waiter at a restaurant across the street from Friday Late Night's studio. He ended up going to a rare open mic audition night and despite his anxiousness he did a few comedic bits that were pretty fresh, new and really funny... and he caught the attention of The Ace of Spades. After that, the rest was history, he recently was added to the cast and is very excited to work with the veteran-like cast, some of which have already taken him under their wing, like The King of Clovers and The Joker... when he's sober that is. But others like The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds absolutely hate his guts. The Jack of Hearts is a tough guy though and even though he's new, he isn't one to be pushed around and he goes out of his way to tease and antagonize The Jack (Ass), which has only made things worse between the two and has caused a few physical fights between them that have been promptly broken up by the rest of the cast. Little does The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds know that The Jack of Hearts actually looks up to him and has been thinking about him in quite intimate ways lately. The Jack of Hearts can't help his wandering eyes, especially since he also has been eyeing up The Queen of Hearts a lot more too.

The Jack (Ass) can't stand seeing a younger version of himself take his job even though unbeknownst to The Jack of Hearts, he's not just a new cast member because of how fresh his comedy is, he's actually there because he's The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds replacement for when he finally leaves Friday Late Night to become a movie star in Hollywood after they finish filming season three and after the filming of the documentary Friday Late Night TV. The Jack (Ass) can't wait to see The Jack of Hearts reaction to finding out that he's nothing but his replacement... despite the fact that his own ego is wounded at the thought of being replaced. The Jack of Hearts clashes often with the older man, sometimes over the dumbest things. He recently discovered that The Jack (Ass) has been hanging around his female fans lately and The Jack of Hearts can't help but think about what the other man might be like in bed. The two egotistical men argue and fight each other often but, The Jack of Hearts also can't help but think about if he could just shut The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds up by kissing him then maybe he'd stop being so difficult with him.

★ The Ace of Spades: He sees him as a father figure. He's immensely grateful to him for giving him such a coveted opportunity in the comedy world to be a part of Friday Late Night. The Ace of Spades sees how much of a hardworking guy The Jack of Hearts is and he respects him for his work ethic. All he wants for The Jack of Hearts, is for him to feel comfortable and welcomed within their chaotic family despite being so new to Friday Late Night... after all, The Jack of Hearts is going to be The Ace of Spades new golden boy after The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds leaves for Hollywood, unbeknownst to The Jack of Hearts and the rest of the cast themselves.

Sweet, funny, sensitive but amazing at their craft. They're wonderfully wacky and love acting as weird characters on Friday Late Night and doing crazy voices for each character. She practically disappears into each role she has and sometimes unfortunately she ends up disappearing into the background despite being in the main cast since season one. Naturally bubbly and sociable, she's closest with The Queen of Spades and The Queen of Hearts. She has a bit of a friendly rivalry with The Queen of Hearts however, but either way they still find ways to support not just The Queen of Hearts but also all the other castmates no matter how they get along with everyone else. There is one person in the cast that absolutely has their heart... it's just a secret to everyone else though... and that person is The King of Clovers. He matches their freak completely and they love him for it. She really wants to scream about their relationship in the streets of New York and tell the world that she's head over heels in love with him, but she's begun to notice that he's very adamant on wanting to keep their relationship a secret. They don't mind though, he's probably just really private when it comes to his relationships... right? Either way, they simply can't keep their mouth shut about it forever and they really want to tell their close friends about it... it wouldn't hurt to open up to The Queen of Hearts or The Queen of Spades about their new relationship... would it?

★ The Queen of Spades: She's close with her and because she's older, they really look up to her in a lot of ways. There's a beautiful platonic bond between the two of them, and they talk about anything and everything. The Queen of Diamonds loves to yap when she's with The Queen of Spades and The Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Diamonds has noticed that there's a slight bit of distance lately between them and The Queen of Spades, but she's managed to brush it off because she knows that The Queen of Spades is a married woman with a life of her own outside of Friday Late Night. What The Queen of Diamonds doesn't know is that The Queen of Spades marriage is falling apart and she's been having sex with The King of Clovers... and neither does The Queen of Spades know that The King of Clovers is dating The Queen of Diamonds.

★ The Queen of Hearts: She loves The Queen of Hearts. They treat each other like sisters and are very close. Sometimes they do have a friendly professional rivalry with each other due to both being such wonderful comedians. As friends however, they tell The Queen of Hearts everything and she does the same with The Queen of Diamonds... well, almost everything... The Queen of Hearts has been hiding two huge secrets from not just everyone but from The Queen of Diamonds. The first secret is that she's dating The Joker and has been dating him for a while, the second secret is that she's pregnant with his baby. Both Queens are hiding their relationships from each other despite being close friends. Neither wants any drama to reveal itself and both are very private about their respective relationships... but eventually The Queen of Hearts will have no choice but to come clean with her secrets because of her pregnancy. The Queen of Diamonds however is a known yapper who can't keep their mouth shut, so she's bound to slip up at some point and reveal that they've been in a relationship with The King of Clovers.

The King of Diamonds is kind of like a ghost. Cool, suave, calm and collected but comes and goes as he pleases. He stays out of castmate fights and simply watches it unfold from the background like an enigmatic observer. He never stays in one place for too long, never stays with one person romantically for too long and they tend to be pretty quiet but when they do speak it's usually some pretty intelligent thoughts coming from their mouth. He's actually surprised with himself that he's stayed with Friday Late Night for this long. He isn't sure if he wants to leave just yet. They're an artist, thoughtful but very private... they were hesitant to be a part of Friday Late Night before auditioning for season one and very hesitant to be a part of Friday Late Night's documentary that's covering season three. He has a background in theater originally, he's very talented and probably acts the most mature in the cast. He can't help it if The Queen of Spades naturally got attracted to their cool demeanor. They sleep with her on a regular basis. No one else knows about the two of them and they'd like to keep it that way since he wants to keep his cool reputation intact as well as her reputation too... even if he's starting to feel something for The Queen of Spades, though he knows that she's a strong woman who really doesn't need him or anybody for that matter... but he hopes that in those moments when they're tangled up in hotel room sheets, that maybe she feels something for them too.

If he wasn't a comedian he'd probably be a scientist or a physicist. He's the smartest person on the cast and very well loved by everyone at Friday Late Night. He's not necessarily the glue that holds them all together, he's the warm blanket they can all cozy up under and feel safe. He's very quirky and comes up with wacky characters that the writers for Friday Late Night love to incorporate in comedy skits. He doesn't believe in superstitious things but he does enjoy a good ghost story. The King of Clovers is like a quirky teddy bear who treats everyone with respect and just simply loves his job as a part of the main cast. Though, everything isn't so squeaky clean underneath the surface because his love towards his castmates has extended quite far between himself and The Queen of Diamonds and The Queen of Spades... and neither of them know that he's been sleeping with the both of them at the same time. He's tangled himself in a web that's not easy to untangle because The Queen of Diamonds wants to label their relationship as being romantic partners which is freaking The King of Clovers out, meanwhile The Queen of Spades is actually a married woman and The King of Clovers knows her husband. Little does The King of Clovers also know that The Queen of Spades is also sleeping with The King of Diamonds.

★ The Queen of Diamonds: He loves them, he truly does. They're quirky like he is and very sweet, extremely goofy and compassionate. He thinks that they're the Bonnie to his Clyde and he wishes he could be official with them... but the one thing he's afraid of is commitment. ★ The Queen of Spades: She didn't fall into bed with The King of Clovers because she felt her heart flutter like some lovesick woman. No, she fell into bed with him out of lust because her husband wasn't really fulfilling certain needs she has. It wasn't that he was bad in bed, he was too gentle... and The Queen of Spades is no gentle Princess, no damsel who needs saving. She just didn't know how to tell her husband about what she really wanted. And after a night of being out with the cast after wrapping the second season, she ended up feeling desperate and after sleeping with one of the female writers on the show, she found The King of Clovers hanging out by himself looking like he needed someone to talk to. One thing led to another and the two of them fell into bed with each other and have secretly been sleeping with each other ever since. He knows she's married, but he can't help it... and neither can she because he's not the only castmate she's been sleeping with... she's also been sleeping with The King of Diamonds... and The King of Clovers doesn't even know it.

He was originally in a comedy troupe from Canada called Funny Potatoes before he moved back to the States and decided that he was better than the Funny Potatoes. His delusions of grandeur and his gigantic ego would be a recurring theme throughout his life, especially when he finally landed a spot on Friday Late Night after his first audition. He was on the main cast on the first ever season and he got along well with The Ace of Spades after he hired him, actually he got along with him better than the actual cast of the show. The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds deemed the rest of his fellow castmates to be not at all good at comedy, he thought he was better than them and wanted to be a suck up towards the studio and network executives. He managed to manipulate and charm his way into meetings where The Ace of Spades decided to bring him along with him to meet executives... which was like putting a kid in a candy store. He charmed and manipulated each executive he had access to and ended up making connections. By the time the second season of Friday Late Night rolled around, he was acting like an untouchable asshole towards his fellow castmates, especially The Joker who he sees as nothing but a talentless nobody. The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds has been in contact with some executives who see a lot of talent in him and don't just see him as a comedian but they see him as an actor, something he's been dreaming of being his entire life. He's been back and forth to California from New York secretly. The rest of the cast have no idea that he's planning on leaving Friday Late Night soon. He plans on making his grand exit after season three is over, the only one who knows this is The Ace of Spades who has brought on a new cast member to replace The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds... and that new cast member is The Jack of Hearts. He's a little bit younger than The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds, his comedic sense and his wit is sharper than his, he just brings fresh new ideas to the show, and he's also very handsome. The Jack (Ass) is handsome too but he can't stand being outshined... especially when it comes to who gets more attention from fans especially his female fans. He hates how young and cocky The Jack of Hearts is, he just wants to punch him and... maybe makeout with him but he more so wants to punch him, at least at the moment. In the meantime, he'll just keep trying to steal his fans, have sex with them and think about The Jack of Hearts while he's in bed with his fans. It's no big deal, because he's going to be a big star after he leaves Friday Late Night for good... or will he?

★ The Joker: The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds isn't quite sure when his hatred of The Joker started, but if he had to guess it probably started after they first met not long after they were confirmed castmates on the show. The heavy disdain likely started due to how naturally moody The Joker is which rubbed The Jack (Ass) the wrong way. Things only got worse when he saw how open The Joker was about using drugs. The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds strongly believes that drugs should stay out of comedy. But that's not the only thing they don't agree on. They really don't agree on the character roles that either man keeps getting. The Jack is very pleased with his roles, he keeps getting cast as the pretty boy main characters while The Joker is not happy with his roles. The Joker keeps getting the side characters who do more comedic stunts than anything. The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds is in the ears of the Friday Late Night comedy sketch writers and The Joker knows this and it causes a lot of fights between both egotistical men.

★ The Jack of Hearts: He's almost everything that The Jack (Ass) is not. Wittier, funnier, more youthful, vibrant... and The Jack (Ass) of Diamonds can't stand it. He knows he's been replaced and he hates it. The Jack of Hearts however isn't fond of The Jack (Ass) and openly makes it known. He sometimes thinks about him... and how handsome the older man is, and he has a tendency to tease The Jack (Ass) sometimes. The Jack of Hearts also thinks that The Jack (Ass) is washed up, old news and he thinks that The Jack (Ass) will probably be fired soon since he still doesn't seem to recognize the hardworking talent around him. In reality, The Jack (Ass) knows the truth, that The Jack of Hearts is only on the show to fill in for him when he's away in California on the fast track to becoming a movie star after season three of Friday Late Night ends. Either way, when he's gone... he won't miss anybody on the show, well... he will probably miss The Jack of Hearts since he not only sees himself in him but he also really really really wishes that he would stop teasing him before he tries to dominate the other man and show him who's really in charge.
