“Should I be worried?”

There is a only silence and a stony given as an initial response. A mighty beast made of cruelty and sins lurked over a mortal, apparently unaware as to who or what now faced them. Those unfamiliar with demons would show greater fear than this, and those who knew his name would look upon him with scorn.
Unfamiliar with him, and yet familiar with the supernatural? It was a possibility to be sure. The son of Mephisto did not engage in petty squabbles nearly as often as his creator, and so, he was forgotten in the eyes of many, his tale did not span as far and wide as one who was most commonly equated to the Devil.
But this was not about him. No, this was about the scent that clung to the mortal before him.
The familiar, sweet smell of death. And the wretched stench of the divine.
His eyes narrow, and his tail flicks back and forth, not unlike a cat.
"...Your soul has been claimed already; your worries need not be with me."
A step closer to them is taken, but no more.
"What purpose have you sought for yourself, walking among mortals while being far more?"
