PuertoYuku update time! \(^0^)/
Last Friday we hiked it up to the UPR Río Piedras campus’ Art & Anthropology Museum to take part in a special Valentine’s Day event called Amor en el Museo where participants were able and encouraged to make their own Valentine’s Day cards using ready made materials such as stamps, crafting paper, pens, markers, colored pencils, feathers and many other fun things you can think of! Best part of it all is that it is a free of charge event open for participants of all ages and communities! ‘\(^0^)/’
This was the museum’s second year hosting the event and there was a lot of enthusiasm and love in the air! (~.^)/’ Over all the staff was very kind and instructive on how to use the different materials and also in the encouragement of the participants creative drive. We even ran into friends from last time’s BABA Fest! It was pure awesomeness!

Hi friends! This is our 20th update from the PuertoYuku series! *throws confetti* yayy!! ‘\(^0^)/’
Check out Felix Arcay, a student from the UPR and singer. When I saw Felix, Takeshita St. was the first thing that popped in my head! This has been the most out there style I have yet found around the campus. The eyeliner design was a really neat touch to the whole outfit and, even thou unconventional to some, the cape was the accessory that sparked this look up.
An awesome example of limitless creativity and most of all expression!

This here is Tisha López (19) she’s a very passionate girl who seeks to creatively express herself through many different ways and forms, one of them being her dressing-style. She’s also a full time student at the UPR. I liked this look a lot because it’s unusual color combination and textures, and also because of the subtle sleeve arrangement (^v^)/’

This is Samantha Olivo (22) she’s an audiovisual communications student at the UPR, Río Piedras campus. I loved her double hair-bow and key necklace, which she told me she had bought from an artisan at Las Fiestas de La Calle San Sebastián (SanSe 2016) at Old San Juan earlier this month. Her presence was overall awesomeness and she was very fun to shoot! (^-^)/’

Last Día de Reyes while walking down la calle del Cristo in old San Juan we bumped into José Alberto Márquez Gomlia (25) a friend, fellow artist and the author of “Letras para un café y otros poemas desnudos” (2013)
After a quick chat José revealed to us that he was working on his third book, a story book, and that he was also starting to discover the joys of painting.
We loved his bohemian style and of course his always charismatic presence.
