Kind of both! She's shockingly sympathetic, but she's also very guarded. She hates how much she cares, because in her mind, she can't afford to do so. She's got a hidden paranoia of getting too attached to other cats, lest they betray her. But she's still a mother at heart, and retains a desire to care for others. She wants to help, but she also doesn't want to get stabbed in the back.
