As a firm belieber of the saying 'try and try until you succeed' Baek Yeonhee also believed that this saying is applicable to nearly anything and everything. That includes dating -- and moving on. But then she had to ask herself, everyone that she knew sans his brother hadn't been in the same predicament that she is right now. How is it that they could freely date whoever they want and move on just as easily? While she... She just can't seem to get over a single guy from five years ago. It was unfair and utterly ridiculous. Five years ago, she was just a foreigner in her own home and had just begun her internship at this hotshot hospital. She was an immature girl who shined in childlike innocence until she met him. He, who is a force of nature with a personality that is in its own league. She was a helpless moth to his fire and it burned. It was painful but just as ecstatic. It was nothing she had ever felt nor experienced before. And that feeling she felt do damn strongly that she couldn't let it all go as much as she tried even after all these time.
Yeonhee sighed as she downed her fifth vodka martini. She looked around the dimly bar and scrunched her nose. It wasn't Summer Nights, it lacked the sleek and class but it will have to do. She spots her date for the evening talking with the bartender. Some guy his brother's cousin set her up with, he wasn't bad looking but he wasn't the type of guy that she would usually go for -- too mellow. Then a flash of familiar smoldering but sharp eyes passed her mind, his eyes. Yeonhee sighed.
Then she saw them -- perhaps him. Tall, long legs, wide shoulders, those ears. Wait. Yeonhee blinked and blinked again. Her mouth dropped open when he saw her kissing him. There was no doubt about it. It was him. Arlo. @flippedthat
