OK does this suck? Yes!

Should we be worried? No!

Few things have been pissing me off about the West’s reaction to this.

Other media keeps saying it’s off Ireland’s coast. It’s not.

When they don’t say that, they say it’s in Irish waters. It’s not. It’s in international waters our navy & air corp have a responsibility to patrol under international treaties.

Look…I 100% agree that this is Russian sabre rattling because of the Ukraine situation at the moment. Talking to an Azerbaijani student about it this morning he straight up said “Oh yeah…that’s just what Russia do anytime they have an international problem, put troops on our border.”

Russia’s just reminding the EU “We’ve a massive navy and can come in from your rear anytime we want.”

I don’t know what’s going to happen in Ukraine. Will Russia invade? Will NATO or the EU take action if they do?

But Ireland? People worrying about Ireland? You…do…not…fuck…with…Ireland. Not coz we’ve a strong military, coz we’ve too many strong friends. Westminster learned the hard way, when even Trump told them to leave the NI protocol & the GFA alone. Coz pretty much one of the only bipartisan caucuses left in Washington is the Irish-American one. Now there’s a proud Irish-American in office.

UK doesn’t care about us but we’re on their doorstep sooooooo. And the EU has shown how firmly they back us the last few years since 2016. And that’s not even counting all the other countries around the world we have close relationships with.
