I had dreams, I wanted to go to college as a full student the whole nine yards that didn’t happen, but you know what after a while instead of looking at it as failure from my part and incompetence I shifted my view a bit and saw it as another chance to grow, another open field of opportunities for me to take. To find what to do, and my first decision was to fully become independent. Someone who thrives from their hard work, someone who earns what they have with their hard work, that’s who I wanted to be for MYSELF and nobody else. Just for ME. Find a job, open a savings, start a retirement fund for my retirement, self preservation in an essence of that meaning. There’s a reason for that but that’s too personal for me and I don’t want to talk about it awraxa. But I wanted to take care of myself, I wanted to be in a place and a situation where I was OKAY, emotional and mental things aside. And I am and over time more things happened, curve balls get thrown at you from one end to another and they’re hard to handle and deal with because they’re so unpredictable but hear me out it’ll be alright and giving yourself the chance is important when that happens because it’s so easy to give up. These curve balls for me came in the form of finding my siblings again and my view shifted into: I want them to be okay in a future where I’m not here anymore. What I’m trying to get you to understand is that it’s important to know first before deciding and that even when you do decide over time it’ll change, but what I really, really want to stress to you as a young growing adult is that there’s no rush, it’s not easy but don’t look at what everybody else has or doesn’t have. Focus on you and don’t shy away from taking on things at a steady pace. I know this is very vague advice but I can’t give you solid advice because one, from a personal standpoint I don’t know you or what you have in mind I just think you’re rad and I appreciate you lots and two, things are testy and they change a lot.
