Thank you! :) Oh god, there are so many. I would recommend anyone I reblog from, but I will try to name a few that specifically come to mind:

truecrimeinvestigation has great content. She mostly focuses on the victims and survivors of crime. Ashley happens to be one of my most favorite people ever, and she is always recommending me good books.

hausoftruecrime is one of my favorites. They have a lot of well written and researched posts. I adore their blog and them as a person! They’re very nice and helpful. They always answered my questions when I first started posting on here, which I am grateful for. 

congenitaldisease is probably the first crime blog I started following on here. She is also a fantastic writer and fantastic person in general. I would highly recommend checking out their blog, as well as their website and book. 

truecrimecrystals is also great! They do great work keeping missing people and unsolved cases in the public eye. I read their page daily. I find their work and dedication to unsolved cases so admirable. 

fletchermarple is another blog I would definitely recommend. Their posts cover a lot of cases and are very well researched. 

theconcretemama I knew very little about prisons and life inside before finding their blog. Never thought I would find the subject to be that interesting, but I was wrong! They have a lot of great, eye opening information.

missing-and-unidentified is another great blog with original posts that center around unsolved missing persons cases. 

There are a lot more, but those are the few I could think of off the top of my head.

If there is anyone out there that knows Russian History or about The Romanov Family….

I have a question.

Okay, from what I understand….

the last Tsar Nicholas II was very hated by Russia and they blamed him for their poverty and suffering. So he and his whole family were assassinated.

If they hated him for those reasons then why did Russia mourn the death of Joseph Stalin if he pretty much put them in poverty and suffering. I read once during his reign starvation was so bad Russians went to cannibalism.

I am in now way trying to disrespect Russia. I am just asking a question about something I do not understand…so I can understand and learn it.

It was in "russian history" tag, so it caught my attention.  The difference is that people saw those rulers very differently. Nicholas II was seen as a weak ruler, who failed basically in everything he did, Stalin it turns out  was seen as a stern but in the end successful ruler, who while making some horribly bad decisions (to put it mildly) came on top ( albeit he achieved it by very harsh actions). To simplify things: Russians don't like weakness in rulers.

Blood Money by Clifford L Linedecker, tells the true crime story of Hilma Marie Witte and her sons.

Hilma used both her sons to commit murder for money. One shot his father, but was found not guilty as it was believed to have been an accident. 

The other son she had kill his grandmother with a crossbow. However, with the grandma Hilma knew no one would believe the crossbow was an accident. 

Over the next months Hilma, her own mother, sons, and a few of her sons’ friends (whom she was sleeping with) dismembered the grandma and her remains were never found. 

Hilma was caught after her own son told police of the cimes. He confessed to the crime out of guilt, but mostly fear of what his mother could possible do to him.
