What if the MC is a manipulator and builds their own ideal yandere onto a person
After watching clips, reviews and analysis of the movie Obsession and few video essays about female evil protagonists or flawed female protagonist. Especially with bloodmoney the game and some fics I read.
I have a idea about a yandere visual novel inspired by them. What if fmc is a insecure and lowly person, a nobody in fact.
Yes we have a lot of those in visuals novels, but the difference is that those visual novels make the mc a saint, can do no wrong, and be a victim to the yandere with the additions that they were heavily manipulated by the yandere character.
What if we switch the roles here. Imagine like from the start, MC is a no body, a bullied person, and a mean sad bitch, ( We're not taking the innocent mc) Because of this, no one would ever friends with them. Even some people tries to friend with them but they scoff it off and leave.
Now, they have a crush on the popular guy. Yes our man, but this crush lingers with jealousy. He had everything they wanted, intelligence, looks, friends, charisma. Everything falls on his hands.
So our MC here wants to take everything from him. So they could devise a plan, to make him fall in love with them and never leave them.
The popular guy was in vulnerable state and MC comforts then the next days they were hanging out and much so . MC starts to manipulating him so that he could depend on them. So our guy turns into a yandere and wants to do everything for MC.
There are many choices you could make, like stay with him, or threw him out because you're bored and disgusted, or you killed him because he killed your friends you made along the way in some routes.
In his acts, he will stalk you, torture others , and some shit. But yeah drive him mad.
It sounds so um idk to describe it, anyways
In the visual novel, you have to make good choices to make him fall in love with you or else he will friend zone you, or hate you and you look weird.
Now ts sounds like how femcels would want. I don't like most because of their similar behaviors with incels, but the point is I like to see flawed girlies in media as a protagonist as other male protagonist in the gaming history.
But I don't want misogynistic hate towards this mc, nor I don't want this concept being the blame for misogynistic audience
While also I don't want to downplay the message of the movie Obsession, about a loser guy bending the reality of innocent girl to please his pleasures and she is watching all of this against her will and body, for by the end she will pay the price and he will got off easily. It's a good horror story about male loneliness epidemic, this also goes the same as The Companion, except it's more on survival horror
