i feel like saying patricia lee smith is like saying jesus h christ, it's an exclamation, whereas just saying patricia is like a scold, like eye-rolling, "patricia what have you done now"

i might have said this before but as the new school year approaches i'm laughing to myself at the prospect of being one of the stereotypical humanities dykes who want to redacted patti smith's redacted, only if there really are that many of us i will have a good year indeed

the thing is, break it up is my least favorite song on horses and distant fingers is my least favorite song on radio ethiopia, but even if those were the only two patti songs i knew, i would still revere them

has anyone else read the interview where thurston moore tells patti smith what riot grrl is and patti is like :) that's great i hope there's lot of them :)
