Today I marched with my mom and sister in my Yaya's shawl, in part because I want to represent my culture and in part because I think she would have marched with us. I thought it was significant that justice - the concept - is a woman. In this case, justice just happens to also be an Indigenous woman.

We are Indigenous. We are women. We are still here.
