Hello all my lovelies~ This is going to be one of those really hard post that needs to get written. I'm pretty sure you've noticed that neither Lisa, nor me were around in the past weeks and unfortunately that won't change. I might have a slightly lighter schedule classes wise now then I had back in high school, but they're a lot harder and a much more exhausting then what I had thought it would, especially with the curricular activities after classes and I don't have the time I would want to manage a whole rp and I don't see that changing anytime soon. So we talked it over with Lisa, and we decided that for the both of us the best decision would be to close Flames - and for you, too, because you're amazing people who deserve the best and most dedicated admins you can have, and nothing less. That being said, we love you all and we were still be around. We talked about it and we were definitely keep the skype group up and hopefully those crazy talks we have won't stop because neither of us wants that.I hope you guys can understand this, we love you all!

We're sorry about this, Enci pretty much said everything you need to see in a situation like this, but know that even though the flames have died down we still have the memories of all the fun we had here and all the amazing plots, you guys are seriously amazing. I mean everyone, from the ones that left to the ones who stayed until now, great job friends! We love you so much and won't leave our friendships with you behind. You are all very talented and we hope you find a good path for both roleplaying and life. We just have to say goodbye to Flames, it had a good run and lasted a long time, when we started this we only hoped it would get this far and form this many friendships, thank you.

Hello again lovely roleplayers! Since our first Quiddich game will take place this weekend we are going to give you some rules and guidelines for how it's going to go down

Make sure you really want your character on the team and double check if they are on it, just in case, because it is mandatory to participate if your character is in it. If you want your character to join their house team see if there's a spot available on the Quidditch page.

Two teams will be selected to play against each other. Remember to vote in this poll for the team you want to participate. The house that gets the most votes will also be the winner. You have until tonight to vote.

Each roleplayer that has their character on either of the two playing teams is required to write a self para about the game from their character's point of view. Remember that if you plan on your character getting hurt or injuring someone else you must consult us and the other player first.

You can also write a para with someone else if you'd like, for example if your characters get in a fight during the game of if they are showing off their teamwork, but you still have to write the self para.

You have until Monday to finish your Quidditch self para. You can have gifchats and other paras going on during that time.

If you are NOT on the Quidditch team feel free to write a para yourself. Your character could be watching the game, cheering their team on or being completely bored. You will be rewarded with house points if you write a para.

When you are posting your para and everything related to this particular event use the tag flamesquidditch

Your characters are allowed to react to the results of the game on Monday.

The winning team will be rewarded with house points, so will each person on the losing team, just with less points.

After our absence we decided it's only fair we give you something amazing to write about, so without further ado we announce that this weekend (6th and 7th September) Let the Flames Begin will have its first Quidditch Game! We recommend everyone thinks about whether they are sure they want their character on the Quidditch Team and for all those whose character isn't in their house team you can always check out the Quidditch page and see if there is a spot open.

Hello there lovelies! As you might have noticed, we've been a bit busy lately. Both Lisa and me had a bunch of stuff we needed to deal with in the past week, and this will be true for the next week as well, the only difference is that neither one of us will be here at all. Lisa has already left for vacation to Greece today and I'm leaving for freshmen camp to probably get my ass pranked a couple of times tomorrow and neither one of us will have internet access so we won't be able to come online. Don't be afraid though, because the main won't be shutting down even for a short period of time. The amazing Lynn has agreed to help us out, which means that she'll be answering any questions you might have and update the app count if we get applications. Acceptance won't be happening during this time, we want at least one of the admins reading through the applications before we arrive, but once I'm back that will be one of the first things that will happen, promise. I'll arrive sometime next Friday, and depending on when I get home I'll either be back on Friday or Sunday while Lisa will be back on September 2nd, and then things go back normal and get ready because once both of us are back, we have exciting things arranged for you all. Enjoy the last week of summer all of you, and have lots of fun while we away!

I already started working on these biographies, but I'd like to ask everyone to be a bit patient with me, it'll take some time for me to write all these characters, but I'll try to do my best and get them done as soon as I can.
