Whatever had happened, Garen became a different person. He drowned himself in alcohol, started smoking and made ends meet as a mercenary.

Jalia was raised in a secluded elven grove, deep within the forests of the hinterlands. Dissatisfied with the insular ways of her people, she left her home to explore the technological advancements that humans and other races had developed over the centuries. Unlike most elves, she lacked a natural talent for spellcasting, which only deepened her frustration with the traditionalist mindset of her community.

Upon arriving in the human realm, Jalia quickly mastered modern technology, learning to fly airplanes and handle firearms with impressive skill. As an accomplished pilot, her only flaw is her tendency to be a bit too reckless.

Recently, troubling news from her homeland reached her, and just a few days later, a mysterious letter arrived in her hands...

Let me introduce Lex. To sum up her character, you could say this: she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but sometimes blunt force is just as effective.

Lex began life as an ordinary red fox, living a relatively normal existence until she was captured and subjected to torturous experiments. These trials left her with the loss of an eye and a leg. However, there was an unexpected side effect—her lifespan became virtually infinite, as long as she isn't killed by an unnatural cause.

Her savior was an artificer who gave her magical augmentations to replace her lost body parts. One of the abilities granted by this magic was the power to transform into a humanoid form.

Now, 300 years later, Lex receives a mysterious letter from an old friend...
