Without shedding more light on the video, OnePlus urged its fanbase to wait until August 11 for more details. Interestingly, the day OnePlus picked to divulge details about the aforesaid video, was the same day Samsung was set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Much to the charging of OnePlus fans, the company did not talk about its plan to launch a folding device at the time. On the contrary, it revealed that the US version of the OnePlus 9 smartphone will be receiving a price cut. Apparently, the idea behind using two smartphones in the video was just to suggest that users can get two OnePlus phones for the price of one Galaxy Fold. So on my thoughts, they haven't disclosed too much about this even the tech used to build. Only they said was - its foldable. So let me say the ultimate aim of the phone is succeeded by both normal and foldable phones. At the same time lets consider iPhone Mini version, where its main disadvantage was small screen which won't allow people to watch videos/movies in it's ultimate perspective. But still people buy this phone because of it's high end tech and cameras and all in one small phone. So foldable phones just makes this apparatus better. Nowadays foldable smartphones are flagship and it has a big screen if we want. Otherwise it's still compact. But in my thoughts foldable smart phones still has a long way to go and OnePlus took a giant leap in introducing one more screen to it. So it's one step ahead but still I won't recommend to buy one of those as they are too expensive and too risky. Probably it may come up with latest Dimensity 9000 to power 3 screens and tech associated, also battery also should be considered like don't know how much is needed to support all these.
