melody does have the ability to heal, except it’s not really a conventional type of healing in that she doesn’t cast a spell and she’s done with it. she relies on the medicinal properties of certain plants! ginger root for stomach aches, feverfew for fevers and migraines, willow bark as a general pain reliever, etc. melody can channel those properties from the plant into the person she’s trying to help.
