     Majima’s message catches him at... a time. Whether it was a good or bad time didn’t really matter--no, what mattered was the fact that it made his heart drop from his chest down to his knees and caused all of the veins in his limbs to constrict to such a level at the tips of his fingers all but turned blue, icy cold and clammy to the touch ( at least to him ) and oh boy, does it take several minutes to register what the absolute fuck he just read. It takes him several minutes before he replies. Several minutes. At least more than ten.

     He sighs. He’s sure Majima will tell him all about it once he’s bailed out. And probably over dinner. Hopefully a dinner somewhere nice and not after clearing out Poppo again.

     Five minutes go by. Of course he has the money. He never not has the money. Specifically for bail. They have a money jar for it.
