So in this AU, the Earth and Fire signs are human… And they’ve been assigned guardian angels– The Water and Air signs.
Humans can’t go to a good world when they die unless they’ve been protected by a guardian angel. The angels take care of their opposite signs. For instance, Virgo’s angel is Pisces and Aries gets both Gemini and Veto because he is a troublemaker.
The angels have to get used to the technology and ways of humans and keep the humans safe. Imagine the guilt they feel if they’re injured. Imagine the pain the human would feel if the Angels got hurt. They are, after all, very mortal, which the humans are likely to find out…
The Angels have to learn to hide their wings and powers as well as their identities from people who wouldn’t take kindly to beings with wings. It’s not easy.
