because it’s gloomy out and I’m nauseous and I say I want ten instead of five right now:

• dog and I found a cool plant we hadn’t seen before earlier

• rib isn’t catching as much today

• tying shoes really squeezy tight

• imagining what’ll happen if someone tries using the new papal encyclical to claim religious exemption from being forced to use generative ai at home or work

• Redwall

• still have two slices of cheese left in the fridge

Played vidya w friend

Played diff vidya w diff friend. Was great hanging out w him!

Got to listen to music

Didn't have much work to do!

• water bottle was already filled and waiting this morning thanks to last night me

• sunscreen

• the server issues got resolved somehow before my work shift started (hallelujah)

• sun’s out!!!

• successfully ran a social event at the library (man am I wiped out, but that was an accomplishment—even though I didn’t have to also gather all the supplies myself, thank goodness)

• Sun was back out again AND I REMEMBERED FACE AND EAR SUNSCREEN FOR ONCE

• didn’t impulse purchase anything while out on errands, not even a single grocery item, am still holding off till after rent payment and payday like a champ

• dog actually snuggled with ME for a bit

• post it notes

• tying Converse sneakers as tight as my little sensory-feedback-seeking heart wants and squeeeeeeezing my feet and ankles

• the noises Rocky makes in the movie (Rocky the Eridian, not Rocky Balboa lol)

• haven’t thrown up yet

• saw a couple fellow neighborhood volunteers

• dog can finally once again walk without running into walls and the door! well done, baby

• have sneakers WITHOUT holes in them now

• found my crochet hooks

- friends staying alive through difficult times

- bread and cheese

- quiet workday finally

- slept a whole eight hours

• light filtering through moving leaves in trees

• the patch of the creek today that had a rainbow shine to it (ignore the fact that it was probably because of oil runoff from the road)

• doing volunteer work that helps the neighborhood and lets me spend time with other people who also want to try to help and finding solidarity with them

• did not throw up!!!!! take that, Gastroparesis.
