Armand had done many unforgiveable things, yet... Louis was not actively trying to kill him, by some miracle. "Louis," He says, "Depuis combien de temps êtes-vous ici ?" And then, a pause. "You are not fluent in French yet, are you? I thought perhaps you had learned the language by now, given your time spent with Lestat."
