Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers
The prophets in the Old Testament also set a great example as to standing in Godās word. All they had was what God told them and nothing else. They didnāt have time to worry about the children of Israelās feelings because God had a message for them to give.
Itās like that when evangelizing to people, God has given you something to share with them; His word, the gospel, His example, and many parables. We are expected to walk it out like the prophets and apostles did. The disciples were great, but the apostles had it down pat. When I walk like Jesus I might sound like Paul, or Peter, or maybe even Moses. The point is that we are in a season where we cannot worry about how the world views us or we will perish with them. Walk like a prophet and speak boldly the truth. Build like an apostle and help people grow. Love like a pastor who is as a Shepard over his flock. Teach the babes in Christ the ways of The Lord. Finally and most importantly do not be afraid to evangelize for you cannot do just one of these and not tell others about the truth. The only true salvation.
Strive for perfection, and receive Godās correction along the way. Donāt settle to be a spectator but act on what God revealed to you.
