Plural Natsume and his members formed due to loneliness and has been a system since he was a kid

System Kanata but just with the one alter that is a separation of him and him as a god (prbly split during the events of meteor impact)

System Rei and I’m not sure too much for him but I think he definitely has at least one alter that is himself when he was younger because he had to grow up too quickly

Anyways hit the five eccentrics with the plurality beam

🎂 How do they celebrate each other’s birthdays?

wataru is the ultimate party planner ever and natsume forces him to make sure it's to each person's tastes (ie, shu doesn't like big parties, kanata needs frequent puka puka, rei prefers later times, etc)

shu absolutely coordinates all of their outfits for everyone's birthdays including his own

kanata really likes doing a "surprise" even if the party isn't a surprise party (i feel like that's something he'd end up fixated on and curious about after [insert how he grew up]) and eventually they decide to do a real surprise party for him

the other four join forces to make sure wataru's birthday is flamboyant and Amazing~ since he puts so much effort into theirs

natsume ends up spoiled even more than usual when it's his birthday and he'll never admit it but he loves it

🧩 What tiny habit of the other do they find unbearably adorable?

all of them find the way shu takes extra care of mademoiselle every single day without fail adorable but don't say it to his face

i believe wataru is the type to start humming or singing softly without realizing it and they find it cute

this one's a little out there but i think rei likes to fidget to stay focused (not necessarily and adhd thing more of a way to keep him awake) and particularly has one of those chew necklace charms shaped like a bat and the first time the others notice him gnawing on it with one of his fangs they find it hopelessly endearing

they all hate admitting it but kanata's determination to drag them all into puka puka-ing is really cute

as for natsume i think he gets hella insistent on being the card shuffler when they do game nights because he has "the most experience" (read as he reads tarot) and they all find that adorable

🕰️ If they could go back in time, what moment would they relive together?

okay okay i know technically eccentric party night was only a part of natsume's plan and prbly never happened

but they did agree to plan a live together during the eccentric story (chat go read eccentric it's so cute i promise) and so i hold onto the idea that eccentric party night did happen eventually

and i think they'd wanna relive that moment as the first time they got to be truly together as a group and perform and find happiness in the name that had been used to harass them in school

barring that i think just that night in the diner during eccentric is something they'd all like to see again as that night was a big signifier that they had moved on and grown as people and found joy after all the pain they went through

ooooohhhh this is a good one. it kinda varies a lot between who had the nightmare and who's the one doing the comforting tbh.

one that i will say with 99% certainty is if natsume has a nightmare, especially if it's about the war, all of his nii-sans agree cuddles are prbly the best way to deal with it. just reminding him that he's ok and they're ok and the past is behind them.

i think shu tends to isolate himself when he gets nightmares, and the other four know he doesn't like touch as much. natsume likes to settle beside him whether that's on a couch or by shu's sewing desk or at the table or whatever, and just be a comforting presence. wataru will try to find something to help keep shu occupied, rei makes tea and brings him mademoiselle, kanata is usually the one allowed to give shu a hug first and will do like a super tight hug to try and comfort him with the pressure.

if rei has a nightmare, he can also be a bit more isolating, but he kinda just sits silently in bed still, so the others will just offer him a hug and let him be unless they get worried he's spiraling too deep into his thoughts, and they'll remind him to take a deep breath.

wataru is a bit of a mess when he has a nightmare because he'll also lose his grip on his masks. natsume will get very clingy trying to comfort him (idk guys i just see natsume as a clingy and physically affectionate type) and hold him tight, kanata would probably do the same. shu will help dry off any tears and maybe do like a quick facial cleansing for wataru as like a physical grounding thing to help him recover something that he feels comfortable in, and rei probably does his hair a bit too.

as for kanata, oh dear, he's prbly the one who gets the worst nightmares and most often (natsume being a close second). i firmly believe kanata has dissociation issues, and i think he'd try to stumble to the bathroom to douse himself with water, but be too shaky and fuzzy to actually be effective. rei and wataru would help him get there safely and make sure he doesn't drown trying to find comfort, natsume would squeeze his hand or hug him to try and ground him, and shu doesn't like the water but is def making sure there's a clean towel and set of pajamas for when kanata feels better.

oof this one lowkey hurts my heart to think about but...

shu would leave his costume from eccentric party night the one he made to match with each of them on a whim

kanata leaves a jar of konpeito with a label that prbly has something along the lines of "i love you. tell me one more wish" (if you haven't read eccentric this won't make as much sense)

wataru leaves a rose and a letter that progressively gets shakier and more emotional where he apologizes for what he believes was his betrayal of them

natsume leaves carefully crafted spelljars for each of them to bring them luck and peace and happiness

rei doesn't leave anything and he regrets it for the rest of his life
