Have you ever been to Fitzroy Falls? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Approximately 1 and half hour drive from Sydney, Fitzroy Falls is definitely worth the trip! Located in Morton National Park, the lookout for the falls is wheelchair accessible from the Carpark making it ideal for everyone to witness the water flow 80m down into the valley below. There are a couple of hikes near the falls if you feel so inclined. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Or you could do what the boy and I did and make a day of it! We started by driving down to the town of Berry for a spot of shopping and morning tea, then headed to Kangaroo Valley for a spot of lunch before heading to the Falls. We then pulled into Bowral for dinner before heading back to Sydney. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alternatively you can spend a few nights in the area and explore the region in more depth. Plenty of options ranging from camping to motels to unique accomodation offerings. I had hoped to return to this spot to shoot astro this year but that c word put a dampener on that.
