What to Watch Out For

Mages are the most likely class to receive some sort of debilitating injury that will result in a permanent handicap.

Void players often put a barrier between themselves and others. They can feel excluded without really understanding why because these barriers are almost never conscious actions on the player’s part.

A Mage of Void can wind up feeling helpless and alone during the first stages of grieving for what they have lost. This is a very dangerous time for them as they can very well find themselves adjusting to this new way of life completely alone and without the support of others in their party. A Mage of Void needs someone they can rely on in such times of need.

Benefits

Mage is a complicated class that more than makes up for anything that might otherwise slow the player down in combat. a Mage of Void will have the knowledge and control of the void and of the secrets of the game to be able to protect themselves from most of Skia’s secret shenanigans and from the voices of the horror terrors. A Mage of Void will be able to investigate the secrets behind the Horror terrors and other such dangerous things to know without fear of going grimdark. They will then be able to weaponize the void against their opponents.

Role

Mage is an active class. A Mage of Void’s job is to gather secrets, ones that contain power and the ones that other mortals should not know, and weaponize them. This classpect can easily become an unpredictable powerhouse on the field of battle or even the silver tongued negotiator that blackmails or coaxes the black queen into willingly giving up her ring. It all depends on what part of the class this player chooses to focus on and what secrets they manage to find.

Fraymotief

A Mage of Void would do well to team up with a Witch of Doom. These two classpects could easily manipulate the playing field to their advantage and deal enormous amounts of damage to their enemies, or even break them with knowledge of exactly when they would die even if they won the battle. This duo is not to be messed with by anyone.
