waiting is done mostly with hands in pockets, anxiety peeking through an SSRI haze that tones it all down. still, it’s loud when it comes to chase. he had always been so dreamy, but that’s not why she crushed on him. it was how kind he was despite everything. even now. she didn’t care about the things he did really, at least the lacrosse and the stupid saying coach fed him that he repeats, but he was so much more than that. hence the pacing back and forth as she waited. the view was pretty though. all the valley lights as she looked down on the other parts of the city. he’s another pretty one as he approaches.
