Last night was the WWE Draft in which lives were about to be changed forever.  This is my analysis on the first 5 picks made in the Draft.

Seth Rollins:  I had predicted this guy would be number one and who could blame Stephanie McMahon & Mick Foley for choosing Rollins as number 1.  Seth is someone in which in my mind whether you love him or you hate him would always leave you in awe.  He is one of the most popular wrestlers today and when you look at his resume and what he has done not only on-camera but also off it’s quite remarkable.  To me, Seth Rollins was the perfect choice in the first round.

Dean Ambrose:  Believe or not folks, Dean was not in my top 5 so I was kind of surprised that he went up this high but you can see why Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon wanted this guy.  He’s crazy, he’s insane, and he’s more for the people and for pride.  Great choice to start off by selecting the WWE Champion.

Charlotte:  Had her further down but also had her going to RAW.  To be honest, I really don’t like her attitude as of late but she has been very good in the ring and it’s always best to have a strong division and despite the fact that she didn’t win 2015 Diva of the year of the 2015 PWI Woman of the Year, you can’t deny Charlotte’s potential.

AJ Styles:  Had him downward but never this high but what did you expect.  Adding the 3-time NWA World Champion to your roster is a edge especially since this is the guy that a lot of people want to see especially me.  In just 7 months, AJ Styles went from mid-card to top-card status when no one expected it.  He has already performed two match-of-the-year caliber type matches against Roman Reigns & John Cena respectively.  I think this was a huge addition to SmackDown and with  AJ going this high, one can expect him to become a World Champion once again in the near future.

Finn Balor:  Whoa! Talk about the bombshell.  I didn’t even expect Finn to be drafted this high but one can see why Stephanie & Shane went with him in the first round.  His special ring entrances are awe-shattering and that music he comes out to earth-shattering.  Also, his talent is off the charts, just last year, he wrestled in two good match-of-year candidates against Kevin Owens.  He has persevered and proven why he’s one of the best prospects in the WWE today.  Great choice by Monday night RAW
