They are LOUD and SCARY and DANGEROUS. I FUCKING HATE FIREWORKS

I simply adore Independence Day, Most people agree with me. The colonists fought to be their own country instead a part of England. The Declaration of Independence was created and signed. Truly t was a historic moment. Of course there had to be a celebration and there is still a celebration, which is great. I love the 4th of July and what it stands for. What I don’t like however, is how we celebrate it in the loudest possible way. Sending loud and colorful explosives into the air. Gee thanks. I gets that it’s a wonderful day and we should celebrate, but what about sleep and dogs? Dogs have sensitive hearing and some dogs are very nervous on the 4th of July. So I begrudgingly accept and understand that for one day that’s okay. But, but, but for the whole week? Really? Why is it that during the week leading up to the fourth the night sky must be filled with the booms and crashes of fireworks? On the day, I get it, let’s announce to the country that it’s Independence Day and that’s fantasic, but some of us don’t like foreworks to begin with. How dare you ruin my sleep by igniting the night sky with your rather annoying racket? If you couldn’t tell, I have strong feeling regarding fireworks. I don’t like them. I used to hate the 4th of July as a kid. I bet you can guess why. That’s right! The fireworks! I was too scared to go outside and I thought I would die. I was a kid, forgive the dramatics, because clearly I did not die. I usually spent the 4th with the dogs. Like actually with dogs hiding from the noise. I like the 4th of July now and I won’t demand that we change our customs and traditions, I just want to rant about fireworks. I hate fireworks, but love the 4th of July.
