#fired workers

I visited Chipotle Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Washington, DC. This particular franchise has been under some scrutiny because of some discrepancies in their employment authorization documents over the 6 months or so. I haven't been to Chipotle since all that happened and did not realize that all the hardworking employees have been replaced. I don't want to make this a race thing, but the former employees were Hispanic, ok? They worked hard. They gave you limes without looking at you suspiciously. They folded your burrito well. They didn't make a mess when they put your burrito bowl foil top on. It was a science. And they were experts. My last experience was less than par. The food was fine. But the service lacked. The line didn't move as quickly or smoothly as it had before. Messes were being made because of carelessness. Attitude was freely given. You reportedly fired them a month ago. More than enough time has passed to get a fast food joint to live up to your glowing reputation. So yeah, I support the fired workers who will be protesting tonight. I do not support the problem traffic will be at that time in my neighborhood, but yeah. You did injustice to them. And the customers. Sincerely.
