“And they say I’m bad,” Ava commented, staring at the god a few feet away. Feet kicked up on the table, she watched him carefully. So, that’s what a god looked like. Not what she imagined at all. But he did fall into the good looking category. He also had a good bone structure. Those seemed to be godlike qualities to have. She wondered what his brother looked like. She’d seen images on TV, but that wasn’t quite the same.

“I’d say that if the intent of the sarcasm is missed by the receiver, is it really effective sarcasm at all? Especially when the conversation is explicitly between two individuals with no other witnesses to said sarcasm.”
