Firebeard Axe
A bearded axe, created by a legendary dwarven craftsman for personal use. When saying its name, ‘Firebeard’, one to three times, that many fire jets ignite from the holes in the axe head and let the cutting edge glow with heat. When the axe strikes its target, a shower of sparks flies off, dealing +1d6 fire damage per charge used (up to +3d6 fire damage).
Afterwards, the fire jets and the glow quickly die off. If the jets touch the wielder’s skin, they won’t injure, but they can still feel very uncomfortable, especially to those not used to the heat of a forge.
The weapon can hold up to 10 charges and regains 1d4+1 charges at dawn.
Requires attunement.
