Last month I organised to do a 3-way collab with @firead-art and @deeyahs of our One Piece OCs. We decided on an autumn theme, sketched our own OCs, and then I ended up doing the lines for Didge’s Raven and the colouring for Ryy’s Ivy. It was a lot of fun, and it’s been super cool to see how each piece has come out between the three of us 8D 10/10, would do this again!

@firead-art and I decided we were going to resurrect our ancient Yu-Gi-Oh OCs for some reason. Meryaten, belonging to Ryy, is in the front, wearing my terrible approximation of this gorgeous faience dress, and Ashlultum, belonging to me, in the back. (I don’t even remember how I got her name, so it may change at some point.)

I'm happy someone mentioned Tharja's outfit and about female video games in general. I think one of the biggest issues though is that a lot of video game designers don't understand you can make a woman very sexy and still desirable when she is perfectly clothed. They seem to have it stuck in their heads that less clothing = sexy when in truth, even to a lot of their desired audience, it can be considered boring.
Yeah, well it’s something developers need to realize sooner or later, but they just aren’t trying (and in truth it’s because most people working in the video game industry are young men (under 30)).
But if there are plenty of people like me, a fairly average gamer, who are more attracted to characters like Lucina (reasonably dressed, interesting backstory/character) than to characters like Tharja (unreasonably dressed, basically sex appeal), then that’s a sign developers need to change their ways and possibly attract an even larger audience (aka, everyone who would have been put off by sex appeal).
