Chun Li Hua:

How I feel about this character: the love of my life, even if sometimes she kills me in my heart and with her chara decisions??? you already know i love this messy girl, and it’s been said so many times before from others because it’s the truest thing that for such a complicated character with so many opposing sides to her personality, you are so consistent with her voice and characterization and have developed her so well that it’s fun to read her and what you’ll do with her in threads, and how she faces her perception of herself and how her pride and stubbornness and sometimes obvious youth that i love her, and all the angst too you bring with her, i still remember in a thread we wrote with li hua’s reply talking about her body and if her hands belong to her and if this is her if she doesn’t feel anything and it still Pains me. and i like reading her thought process in threads and just reading so many of your rambles in replies or on discord

A headcanon with my character: we really talked about this during our first thread with emme/li hua, but can we still imagine maybe there’s Once these two did meet when they were children even in passing when li hua was visiting to watch one of her dad’s performances and there’s emme in the crowd with her or in the funfair or seen on the bigtop stage after the show, and maybe seeing too emme interact with li hua’s dad and see a kid that was locked up for what she was when li hua always viewed her being a phoenix as a gift and blessing, while there’s a kid living like this for the same reason of being a cryptid. and this meeting as children giving to li hua realizing through emme unintentionally how privileged she is and the both of them helping the other relive in some childhood states they didn’t get to live out??? because one of them can’t say they didn’t know how the other lived if they met, or just the cute moment where they talked and connected in the way kids do instantly, and think they were always made to be friends bc i’m a sap

How I feel about this character: i’m ready and a day to hear and talk about nadia??? 

i’ve loved watching you in threads and over discord just really enjoying your threads with her and the chaos she can bring and does bring with no shame for anything she’s doing or how she treats people. but i’ve loved too that she’s more than just chaos or following this chaos for no reason, there’s this deep anger to her beyond the power you give her in her threads, a deep need for vengeance, and this jealousy, and there’s not enough things to burn for her style of justice and wrath and that makes her different than other darker characters because there’s an awareness to her?? and that jealousy again too, that her loud or subtle anger and pride is something deeper than just simple anger. give me everything of her softer sides and the parts of her personality that seem really almost out of her control, i’m here for Everything

A headcanon with my character: it’s TIme to talk about emme and nadia when they first met, because i do love what you wrote about emme being the first face nadia saw when she was brought to the menagerie, and can you imagine that scene, but it’s on the train with full warnings for anyone that’s watching outside of the doors that they need to leave because it’s too dangerous to be near nadia with a bag over head, with snakes hissing under it, and emme’s silently watching and heartaching for her, and she’s the first person to take off the bag when nadia’s finally alone, and it’s not with her eyes closed, but while she’s seeing her in visions just a few seconds off from the present and she tries everything to make nadia feel safe as much as she can without giving herself away to metzger that she’s there. showing nadia around the funfair even if she’s too young to know or not if that’s something nadia wants because she’s too determined to make her feel welcomed becuase of the other day, and then just remembering these moments when nadia treats emme like a ragdoll and just taking the anger she does and doesn’t know the source of where she’s involved

but there’s still the faint flickers of a smile as he tugs at her arm, feet already picking up pace as they walked towards the brightly-lit strip, boy quick to blend in.
