As you all can tell this is very late… I’m happy to have it done for you though! I did my best to keep him in character, but please let me know if I messed up;; ♡

It’s early in the morning, just after the sun has come out and you find yourself awake. This kind of early is much too early and you try your hardest to fall asleep again, to focus on the warmth and soft breathing beside you, but even closing your eyes doesn’t help you enter the realm of sleep. With a drawn-out sigh, you begin to carefully detach yourself from Linus’ embrace, wiggling your way to freedom.

You’re just about halfway free - doing this in the dark and trying not to wake him makes it seem all the longer, really - when Linus’ grip tightens, fingers curling around you.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he murmurs, the question gravelly with sleep.

“To get some air, or a drink, or something,” you reply, taking care to keep your voice extra soft. He grunts in response and pulls you closer. “That doesn’t help-”

Your words are interrupted as Linus lifts you from the bed, the warm sheets giving way to cold air. Frantically, you look for something to hold on to amidst your shock, finally taking hold of his neck to balance yourself. He stands without much of a problem and begins to carry you off.

“What-” you exclaim, sounding a tad too breathless and he laughs. You frown and contemplate hitting him in the chest to retaliate, but you merely pause to calm yourself. After a deep breath, you try again. “Why are you carrying me?”

“Because we have to go together, obviously. And this way is easiest.” His words are gushing confidence like usual, but he still sounds tired. Glancing upwards, it’s easy to see his sleepy smile, his still-hooded eyes… Using his neck as a support, you pull yourself up to plant a solid kiss against his cheek.

“Thank you,” you say, and Linus’ eyebrow raises as he looks back down at you, his smile turning mischievous.
