SO to celebrate the birthday (“posting birthday,” I guess?) of my Hiccanna fanfiction Details With the Devil, I made an edgy angst moodboard to go with it!!! I’m honestly pretty pleased with how this one turned out--a pretty good blend of a sense of imminent danger and a kind of inner agony, if that makes any sense.

No big boi spoilers, but the fic basically centers on Hiccup and Anna having to fight for their lives after discovering they both possess dangerous magic abilities--powers that not only will put the people around them in danger, but also threaten to destroy Hiccup and Anna themselves from the inside out. It’s an absolute angstfest of a fic that gets real dark real fast, but damn, if I didn’t have the time of my life exploring my apparently very twisted mind while writing this thing XD It’s on my fanfiction dot net account if anyone wants to check it out!

Fire!Anna for one of the AUs I'm working on.

All I want is some scary Frozen fanfiction with cursed!fire!Anna, where fire just explodes from her, and there's no way she can control it because it's a curse, not a gift like Elsa's powers. And it exhausts her, because the energy for the fire has to come from somewhere and it's a curse so it takes it from her. And she's not immune to the fire, or smoke, and Elsa has to save her a few times. And she can't be around Olaf because fire just suddenly happens, and maybe she's already burned a chunk out of him. She starts pushing everyone away out of fear of who might get hurt the next time. Elsa and the others won't abandon her, but she is so scared that she runs when she feels it coming on. And the curse just gets worse and worse, until she's barely alive but the fire keeps coming out bigger and bigger, in a swirling inferno of heat. And the next time might be the last, and they're trying so hard to get her a cure!
