It’s so weird that you asked this, because I was just about to go check out her blog. I’ve been in a SasuSaku mood today, and I wanted to reblog some of her beautiful SS art. 

im back to the SS fandom from my long hiatus. Do you know what happened to Finval? Her drawings are nowhere to find and im afraid that she quit drawing?

finval quit tumblr because of reposting 🙃🙃🙃

Iirc someone edited her art without either asking for permission or crediting her. When she requested that they delete the edit or give her credit, they refused, tumblr did fuck all to help, and the edit got a few thousand notes.

So. A big thank you to the asshole who ran off one of our fandom's kindest, most talented content creators! And by thank you I mean 🖕

I heard some years ago that she moved to twitter and instagram, where she was finvalion, but there are no accounts with that handle anymore on twitter or insta. Clearly she deleted or changed her handle. Considering how rampant reposting is literally everywhere on social media, I'd hazard a guess at deleted, sadly.

I really hate this because artists deserve credit for the hard work they put in creating their beautiful art for us.

I vividly remember when I saw that finval had created this INCREDIBLE (also incredibly nsfw FYI lol) illustration of a scene from In Times of Peace. I think it was the first time anyone had ever made fanart of one of my stories, and I was floored that an artist so talented was reading my fic. Finval is a lovely person, and even years after the fact, I am STILL salty about the way she was treated.

I’m on mobile and just checked. I’m having trouble accessing finval’s tumblr too. Same! Finval has such a beautiful art style.
