Seeing where it goes. [Fincent/Elijah]
Elijah had been surprised when the witch approached him. But the man was smart, could hold his own even when Elijah was being his most sarcastic(annoying) and strategic, matching his ideas. So he found himself drawn to him more and more. Until he finally let himself show it. Only for everything to crash and burn afterwards.
[part two]
AN - Got stuck on an idea, :))) so... ya know. Here's a whole Finlijah moment Ig? dubcon-ish because off the whole identity issues of it all. Slightly blaming @crimsonlyinglilly for this. But I also decided this was my 'treat' writing after doing uni work.

Elijah was sat in Rousseau's, his pen running over his newest journal, just having taking a break from his research finding the wolves, that's when the man sat opposite him. Elijah looked up at him then around the bar pointedly, there were other empty tables, before looking back at him curiously. "Sorry to interrupt, I thought we could Help each other." "And just why would you think that?" Elijah drawled an amused smile on his lips. "You are Elijah Mikaelson, and I know your plans. I want to help. I'm… a little of our canine neighbours trying to take Control." "I see, you want witches in control?" "It's certainly something we can discuss and argue afterward." Elijah finally let himself take in the man. "Well," he closed his journal and shifted to lean closer to the man, "how about you tell me what your believed plan is." He said simply and motioned to him. "And perhaps a name I can use for you?" "You can use Vincent." He said, with an almost charming smile. "We could go somewhere more private?" "Are you trying to plan with me, or Proposition me Vincent?" Elijah asked amused. "The former, why, did you want it to be the latter?" "I guess we'll see how it goes." He said lightly.

Elijah smiled lightly as he watched Vincent explaining another of the ideas he'd had. He didn't even notice it he was talking eyes on paper moving between books and then paused and looked at him. "Are you intending to give some input here Elijah?" "I'm rather enjoying listening to yours." Elijah said simply. "Please continue." "Are you even listening to me?" "Of course I am." He said immediately. Vincent raised an eyebrow at him. "I am, Vincent, it's an important subject." "It feels like your too busy checking me out." Vincent said amused. "I can enjoy the view as I listen." He said simply. "You realise once we take out Guerrera and her pack we will have a power vacuum that may be quickly filled?" "It will be." Vincent agreed. "Your witches-" "It'll be fine, Elijah. Don't worry about it." Elijah frowned and went to speak but Vincent stopped him, "trust me." "Really?" He asked dryly and Vincent nodded shifted from his seat to the place by Elijah and placed the book between them. "Now these rings-"
.
"I found them all." Elijah said joining Vincent, "we'll be fixing things tonight." He told him with a smile. "You did?" "We did." Elijah corrected and shifted closer to him. "I guess I should allow you some of the credit." "Really, Elijah?" Vincent looked amused and Elijah hesitated a moment as his eyes fell to his lips before he leaned to kiss the witch. The man tensed for a moment, but just before he pulled away, Vincent’s eyes hand wrapped in his jacket and dragged him closer.
.
"Elijah, I'm surprised to see you tonight." Vincent greeted as he opened the door. "Yes, well. After my evening and Hayley and my brother moving a wolf pack into my home, I could do with company that doesn't wish to bite me." Elijah told him. "May I come in?" "You may. Are here for drinks or…" He trailed off. "Well, we can start with the drinks." Elijah offered with a half smile. "I am very much in need of a distraction, whatever way that can be done." He told him and Vincent just looked amused.
.
When Vincent walked into their home when they were waiting for their mother Elijah stared at him confused. "Linens and silk to disguise your pathetic self-loathing." Those words seemed to hit harder when he could still feel the ghost of Vincent’s lips on his own from just that morning before he'd left, but Vincent’s had already turned to focus on Klaus. "And you, despite the arrogant façade, you're still the same paranoid little boy, full of hate and fear." "Excuse me?" Elijah asked, eyebrows drawn together. Vincent looked back at him and faked an innocent offence. "Oh, you mean you don't recognize me? So much for the unbreakable bonds of family, huh? Always and forever indeed." Family? Family? He must be joking- "It's been a long time, Finn." Klaus said. Vincent smirked… Finn smirked and held his arms out. "Now that the introductions are out of the way, lets eat." Elijah was doing everything he could not to react to the news, trying his best not to just ask just How Long Finn had been Vincent, but he wasn't sure he wanted to know. And Elijah was a little too aware it was likely the entire time, Finn eyes shifted towards Elijah and raised his eyebrows. Elijah stared back at him annoyed, but he recognised the look of Challenge from both Vincent and Finn, and he was Not going to fall on his own sword around Finn.
