Cass was waiting quietly outside the Ravenclaw dorm. Substantially calmer than he’d been that morning. He’d thankfully returned to a fully cured potion sitting in his wardrobe. A full two vials later and he could finally text Finn back He didn’t know how any of this was going to play out. Not one little bit and if he were being honest, it was something he seriously ashamed of. Not something he’d thought he was ever going to have to admit but if Finn really wanted to push that envelope then he at least had to have all the information on the table before Cass let him jump blindly. His finger drew against his palm, back pressed against the cool brick of the building and he’d exhaled out, watching the fog drift off into the air. As it disappeared the outline of a very familiar lion was coming closer to him. He wasn’t nervous, thank you potion, but he knew this conversation wasn’t going to go as smoothly as he was hoping. Or maybe it would. He couldn’t help how he doubted nearly everything that crossed his mind. “Hey.” He spoke softly, eyes slow to raise to meet Finn’s. His cheeks burned with embarrassment as soon as they’d locked and Cass cleared his throat. He wasn’t sure if hugging him was ... no, he wasn’t going to push it. The blond reached his hand back and propped the door open for the both of them, arm held out for Finn to come in. “Come on we can grab a drink and head upstairs. Or I can give you a tour. If you want.”
