Ada: Jake, this is important to me.... I’ve wanted to know about my father my whole life. I know none of us grew up with our fathers, but... Finn knows his father wanted him. And you know your father... Had other places to be. You at least met him; you both have had your closure. I haven’t. I’m not going to ask for a relationship with him... I just want answers. Why he abandoned us, only to leave Danyal later as well..... I mean, who the hell does that? I need to know.

Jake: Baby, I’m sorry.... I know it’s important to you, but you said it yourself--your father doesn’t want you. He probably doesn’t want to see you, either. I just don’t want to see you get hurt like that, is all.

Ada: *Deep breath* I’ve already been hurt, Jake. He can’t do much more than he already has. Can I just.... Have your support on this? Please?

Jake: She looks stressed. You think she’s okay?

Danyal: Why? The babysitter’s being paid for another two hours. We might as well stick around. Why don’t you try and socialize with my sister? She probably wants to get to know you better.

Simone: Look, I’m just not comfortable being here and having to watch you drool over your ex over there. I want to go home.

Finn: Exes? Who the hell told you that?

Makoto: I don’t know what Danyal is telling you, but he and my husband? Never a thing. Never will be a thing. So put your little green monster back in its cage where it belongs, okay Sweetie?
