                                                                 She never stopped surprising him——how could she be so optimistic? So hopeful? So…foolish. He was well aware that their current predicament would benefit if they just WORKED TOGETHER, but he couldn’t do that as easily as she could; they were enemies, not friends.

      “…Shall I stay?"

                              He had been so wrapped up in his thoughts that he had forgotten he had even called for her------he cast his gaze towards her lazily, face void of any emotion (even the normal COLD expression he usually gave her). For a moment he just stood there, shirt hanging loosely from his hands. Finally he glanced away from her and continued undressing, not minding that she was still there, and when he spoke his voice was strangely soft.

                                                  ❛ eh? what’s with the sudden question? ❜

                    in a dream scenario, he wouldn’t have to fight them. in a dream scenario, his people wouldn’t have had to leave earth in the first place. but that’s not REALITY. reality is, his people were forced to flee earth, ending up on a planet with an extremely inhospitable environment, and he was sent here to reclaim their home planet, only to find it nearly destroyed with pollution by those lowly HUMANS.

                                                           as absolutely and completely furious as he was with the mistakes of the humans, he did derive some cruel, twisted enjoyment from fighting and playing with his toys. ( one toy, especially, he was really fond of riling up to the best of his ability ) he liked to see them struggle and fight to stay upright against his attacks. it all brought a sick smile to twist over those crooked lips.

                                                     they deserved the pain, didn’t they?
