Taylor has dreamt of doing hair since she was a kid. Her mom would buy her countless Barbie dolls with how often she was cutting and styling their hair.

She grew up in a comfortable home, with two loving parents in Georgia.

Her father is a lawyer, and her mom is an elementary school teacher.

She kept to herself a lot while she was growing up until she got to high school.

As she got older, she started to party and go out a lot more; exploring her wild side.

There wasn’t much else to do where she grew up, but being so close to the film studios in Atlanta, she decided she was going to follow her dream and apply for hair schools.

After getting into school in California, she moved out and spent nearly ten years doing hair at studios there.

She finally decided to move over to work for Red Line Studios, and has been there for six months.

She’s a bit of a wild child, but when it comes to work she is completely serious.

She’s gotten used to working with celebrities, but she is a hopeless romantic, so to say she’s had crushes on nearly everyone she’s worked with would be an understatement.

abe, also known as fitz or fitzy, has always been a lover of movies. he got his degree in film production at vancouver film school and found his niche in the lighting department as a best boy and eventually, a gaffer. abe is a walking stereotype of a guy on a film crew: a bit pretentious, grumpy and short fused. he doesn’t always have the patience to deal with egotistical directors or high maintenance talent, but he’s good at what he does, so people keep him around.

abraham fitzgerald kaplan is a first-generation canadian. his parents emigrated from turkey after they got married and ultimately settled in vancouver, where abe and his siblings were born and raised. his parents assimilated to western culture quickly and because of this, abe and his siblings don’t feel strongly connected to where they’re from. abe is the middle child (older sister, younger brother) and the only one who has pursued a career in the entertainment industry. 

he was never the center of attention at home. his sister was the golden child and his younger brother the problem child, so abe was just...abe. he lived somewhere in the middle. he got good grades and got into college, but he never went above and beyond really. on the flip side, he didn’t get into any high stakes trouble, but a detention here and there was never out of the question. 

as a teenager, abe didn’t have a lot of friends. he was a bit of an angry kid as he moved through puberty, but once he mellowed out, he found comfort in solace. he spent most of his time outside of school disappearing into the world of film and books. it was because of this that he decided to pursue a career in entertainment. abe didn’t necessarily think he had anything to say in terms of writing his own scripts or directing his own movies, so he found his niche in the lighting department of film sets as a best boy at first and then eventually, a gaffer.

abe is a creature of habit at is core and he doesn’t want to rock the boat for himself or others. sometimes the big personalities he has to deal with on sets really ruffle his feathers and cause him to lose his temper, but at the end of the day, he’s a good worker and gets the job done on set. 

outside of work, he lives a very normal life that is entirely removed from the glitzy world he works in. he goes to the movies, goes to bars with his close group of friends, has dinner at his parents’ house every sunday, etc. he’s a simple guy who finds pleasure in the simple things.  

before landing a stable gig at helter studios, abe’s freelanced in various crew positions all over the greater vancouver area. it was pretty doable given how often american productions shot in canada.

being a gaffer at helter studios has its pros and cons. pros? it’s consistent, the pay is good, and he digs the content (and the budgets). cons? long hours, insufferable actors, and egotistical directors. so far, abe has been ale to keep his temper in check and coast...but one wrong encounter with a difficult personality and he might be toast.

amy has spent most of her adult life trying to break into acting, but she just...isn’t good. she never asked her parents to push for her to get into anything because she wanted to “earn” her roles, so she changed her stage name. she also didn’t start trying to act until she was like 20, so no one really recognized her as her parents’ child.

but is super devoted to getting into acting, as devoted as she can be going on just a few auditions a month, getting devastated by the rejection, spending a week or two sobbing and getting drunk to cope, then starting the cycle over again

works tons of odd jobs just to have something to do during the day, even if she has her parents’ money. definitely doesn’t make enough of her own money to sustain her lifestyle, and she gets fired a lot since she takes time off for auditions, and ‘cause she’s kinda unreliable

*STORY

joseph wilson’s story starts when he was adopted by a young couple, who had decided it was time for a second child. claire and grace wilson adopted joey when he was just a couple of months old and that’s all joey knows. he never heard from his biological family and the couple didn’t plan to reach out, but joey never felt the need to. he was raised by two loving and caring moms and his older brother, and he always knew that was his real family. as he got older, the couple thought he would want to know about his biological family, but joey never felt the need to know them. the four of them were enough and that’s how he grew up.

claire’s personality reflected on joey and from a young age he learned to be kind and caring to everyone he came across with. the bubbly and friendly personality that radiated from his mother infected him and he became just like her, making sure to put a smile to everyone’s face everywhere he went, even when his older brother (who was much more like grace, firm but caring) didn’t seem to budge, he would always try to make him smile. although he was raised to be like this, grace never let him be beaten down or take shit from anyone, so he also learned how to defend himself and always stand his ground whenever someone tried to take him down.

luckily for him, it seemed like his personality was contagious, for once he got to high school, he was quick to make friends and became popular after a while. of course, it helped that he had joined the cheerleading squad and while being surrounded by mean girls could corrupt someone, joey always kept true to himself, but did start taking a like to gossip, which quickly became one of joey’s favorite things (even though he can’t keep a secret for that long). while joey did like going to school, he didn’t like going to class - and everytime he went to any class, he would be distracted with daydreaming or coloring with his crayons. even if he was popular, a lot of people considered him to be stupid, but he never let that take him down - although it could hurt from time to time. 

when it came to his senior year and graduation, joey had to stay a year behind. seeing his friends graduate was hard, but he knew that with a little effort that he could do something good and that’s what he did. he started studying and next thing he knew, he had graduated and... he had no idea what to do next. he had been so distracted with cheering competitions and parties and hanging out with his friends that he had never thought about what he wanted to do next. he stayed in chicago, jumping from job to job as he got fired constantly for always getting late or screwing up something. he was at a lost on what to do and that’s when he found final picture studios.

it was something that he had never expected to happen, but once he saw the offer for the internship, joey was quick to take it. after all, it seemed like it didn’t take much to get coffees for the actors and the producers. the only problem was that joey wasn’t that good at memorizing the coffee orders, but he has to learn eventually...right?

to make it simple, joey isn’t the smartest person you’ll meet – from asking random questions about simple tasks to talking about how his cat back at home is smoking, joey always seems to find himself not making sense. you can always find him around the studio, usually walking around because he’s lost and that’s when he isn’t using his heelys to move around the lot. besides being dumb, joey really is one of the nicest people you’ll know once you get to meet him – he might ask some inappropriate questions from time to time, but they’re not asked with any malice. besides this, he likes to sleep around with a lot of people, you’ll probably always find him hanging from someone’s lips at some event or just drinking and having the time of his life.
