#final kombat

Writing time impacted by the fact that I’m tuning in to final kombat this weekend so I’m sort of locked in on comp most of the day lollll

"My world had been ripped into pieces... I awoke in a foreign realm, forced to complete a quest set forth by my parents, Delia and Argus. This quest, though intended to save the realms, has destroyed my family. My brother, Daegon, had become obsessed with winning the ultimate prize of full godhood and murdered our parents! And in his madness, he sought to destroy me as well. Orin and Caro, loyal to our family for ages, were not spared from the curse of this quest has wrought. Daegon enslaved Caro to serve his own ends; the sorcerer, Quan Chi, nearly killed Orin, who was my guardian. If it weren't for the heroic actions of the Fire God, Liu Kang, then they would've met the same bloody fate as my elders... Though I almost had nothing left, I was determined to complete the quest, despite the dragons' warnings of the quest's twisted setup. I faced many Kombatants, fighting my way to the top of the pyramid until at last, I assisted Liu Kang with my sword, and he defeated Blaze in Mortal Kombat, but at a terrible kost... His and Raiden's souls were bound to one another, merged into a powerful deity with power and might beyond my imagination... Though in so doing, my allies and I were the only ones who survived the ordeal while the two warriors made their heroic sacrifice... He cocooned us with all his strength and changed the trajectory of Blaze's assault to spare us all... I will never forget the chaos of this quest, and for all our valiant deeds it did not foretell..."
