#final garment

I then overlocked all the seams after sewing the pieces with notches together,right sides together.

A few more pieces and pictures showing you how it looked like after they had dried with them being cut and without.

For my technical file I had to create the construction samples that I had used in my final garment making,the Meath of I followed to construct the top step by step,listing out all my pattern pieces and how many was needed and finally two photos of the layout plan by laying out my white cotton fabric by placing all my patterns on and keeping them close together as possible without them overlapping each other to show how much fabric I have wasted and what is left of it all to show If I have saved fabric during the process of making my final garment.

Taking on board what my peer and what I think and combining each of our opinions together, I decided that I am going to create my final garment based on this design. I believe it is because it fits the description of my customer and theme and looks aesthetically pleasing to my eye. I also took in to account how long would the designs take to make as I only had a certain amount of time to create this and looking at my other favourites which included the growing final branch and the ruched trousers, they were going to take longer than this so I thought realistically.
