there's this super interesting dichotomy within her character- she's a viera, so basically a member of the elf archetype with a strong intrinsic attachment to nature and the organic

and you'd assume that would lead to a disaffinity for the mechanical and/or industrial, but she's actually an airship mechanic and she's a wiz at it. there is nothing about human (hume) technology that is abhorrent to her. 

and while she's cut her ties with the viera as a people, she still dresses like a viera- she takes that part of her culture with her. her whole aesthetic is still very much organic (the fluidity of her armor and how much skin it reveals, which i choose to interpret as "natural" as opposed to kinky fanservice). but here she is piloting an airship, there she is zooming around on a hoverbike like she's perfectly at home

she's just as at home with a wrench in her hand as she is with a stereotypically elvin bow and i love that i love her so m uch
