Wow, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is beautiful. Look at that opening scene! Look at the graphics! Look at the main characters!
Wow, look at those shitty controls!
Shittiest controls I have ever used in Final Fantasy and I have played Final Fantasy I-IV and am most of the way done with V.
Seriously, it's like:
"Hey, Jack, let's go talk to the king!"
*Runs Jack to the throne. Presses "X" because"X" is always how you interact with your environment in almost every game I have ever played.*
*Jack lunges backward because"X" means "retreat"*
"God fucking damnit, Jack."
It looks like such a beautiful game, but just the fighting tutorial has me exhausted. I was really excited for this origin story too.
